After a detailed competitive analysis, the Boldon James Company, a leading provider of secure military messaging solutions headquartered in the United Kingdom, selected JB Management as its Message Text Format (MTF) technology partner.
JBM owns the intellectual rights to the Common Message Processor (CMP), an interoperability tool that combines parsing, validating, generating, and editing of formatted messages. Boldon James will incorporate CMP into their messaging product suite available to international Defense, Civil Aviation, Government and Homeland Security customers.
Boldon James has over twenty years experience specializing in Military Message Handling Solutions tailored to meet the formal messaging requirements of the British Ministry of Defense, Homeland Security, NATO, and the international military messaging market. They have 60 messaging customers with 1.5M high and medium grade clients deployed in the U.K., U.S., Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific. (JBM) is proud to be part of the awarded CEOss team to provide support to the USMC Center For Advanced Operational Culture Learning (CAOCL) and the USMC Center For Irregular Warfare (CIW). These organizations are responsible for identifying, coordinating, and implementing irregular warfare capability development initiatives across all elements of DOTMLPF in order to increase, improve, and enhance Marine Corps capabilities and capacities to conduct operations across the spectrum of war against irregular threats.
JBM brings their robust asymmetric warfare experience, to include extensive deployed Information Operations and Strategic Communications experience, to this organization to assist in the development of future irregular warfare concepts to improve Marine Corps operational effectiveness.
JB Management, Inc (JBM) sponsored the NMTC’s monthly meeting on April 10th at the Higher Education and Conference Center at HEAT, Aberdeen, Maryland. With JBM’s extensive experience with systems engineering and integration, digital systems test and evaluation, and military software development, the conference topic of C4ISR Technologies was a natural fit to JBM’s core strengths. Mr. Henry Muller, the Associate Technical Director at the Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC), presented the mission, focus, and challenges that CERDEC faces in today’s high-OPTEMPO warfighting environment. He highlighted the success of CERDEC quick reaction programs such as the Lightweight Counter Mortar Radar (LCMR) and DUKE, both of which JBM actively supports with forward-deployed technicians in hostile environments worldwide.

JB Management has provided direct analytical support to the Army’s Directed Studies Office (ADSO) since 2005. To support our customer’s desires to consolidate contract vehicles, JB Management joined the Northrop Grumman Defense Mission Systems Army Intelligence Master Plan Program (AIMP) team. The Army Intelligence Master Plan contract supports senior Army intelligence leadership by envisioning, documenting and developing assessments and road maps to transition the current force to the future force.
Subcontracts are now in place, and this transition was completed in March 2008. Work on this task order is currently being performed in Springfield, VA, and the AIMP contract vehicle is now available to meet our customers’ future requirements. 2007 was yet another very successful year for JB Management. Recognized by our customers for outstanding employees and technical expertise, JBM is proud of its reputation and committed to maintaining the same level of customer service as a company of almost 160 employees as it was the day it was founded. While JBM prides itself as a flat, dynamic, and agile business, it also is committed to providing our customers with accessible, outstanding leaders.
To facilitate this commitment to our customers, the JBM Board of Directors met to determine if the company should adjust its leadership structure to prepare for future growth. The Board determined that after years of dedicated service to the company, Mr. Harry Gibb would be promoted from Executive Vice President to President of JB Management effective 01 January 2008.
Mr. Rick Sullivan will become the Vice President for Logistic Services. Mr. Sullivan is a retired Army officer who joined JBM last year after last serving as the Garrison Commander for Fort Monmouth, NJ. Rick will lead JBM’s logistic support efforts world-wide, directly supervising JBM’s logistic support efforts associated with counter remote-controlled improvised explosive device (RCIED) electronic warfare platforms such as the DUKE, force protection radar systems such as the Lightweight Counter-Mortar Radar (LCMR) and the EQ36A, and our ongoing logistic support efforts at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center.
To better streamline software development and integration efforts, JBM’s Vice President for Systems Engineering and Integration, Mr. Chuck Miller, will also assume responsibility for Software Development and New Jersey operations. Chuck will oversee JBM support to PdM Common Software at Fort Monmouth, engineering support to the Central Technical Support Facility (CTSF) at Fort Hood, and digital systems integrators who are working with Stryker and Land Warrior units in Fort Lewis and Iraq.

JB Management, Inc presented its products and services at the Military Communications Conference (MILCOM) 2007 Trade Show, hosted at the Gaylord Palms Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Between October 29th - 31st, JBM conducted live demonstrations of our military messaging products such as our JITC-Certified Common Message Processor (CMP) and our newest product, the zero-footprint Web Messaging Tool (WebMT). Our trade show hosts also discussed our core competencies with government and industry conference participants. JB Management, as a member of Professional Solutions (ProSol) team, successfully joined the Acquisition Logistics and Administration (ALA) domain of the Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Commercial Enterprise Omnibus Support Services (CEOss) IDIQ contract vehicle. MCSC is the principal Marine Corps activity involved in all facets of weapons systems acquisition, life cycle management (inclusive of all budget and contracting functions), and post-deployment logistics support. Customers who prefer to use the CEOss vehicle can now obtain JBM services by contacting the JBM Business Development team.

JB Management, Inc. was a proud sponsor and participant in the Camber Corporation's annual charity golf tournament held on August 3rd at the Wetlands Golf Course in Aberdeen, MD. This event benefits the Johns Hopkins Children's Center, which provides premiere pediatric health care for over 100,000 patients and families that visit the Children's Center each year. JB Management is proud to support this worthwhile effort, joining the Aberdeen community in their support of this valuable institution.

JB Management, Inc., as a member of Multimax Inc.’s team, is proud to announce it was selected to support the Information Technology Enterprise Solutions - 2 Services (ITES-2S) contract (total value at $20 billion) awarded through Army Contracting Agency’s Information Technology, E-Commerce (ITEC) and administered by Army Small Computer Program (ASCP). Services under ITES-2S include business process re-engineering, information systems security, information assurance, IT services, network support, systems operations and maintenance, program management, enterprise design, integration and consolidation, and education and training. The Army, Defense Department and other federal agencies are authorized to order under the ITES-2S contract vehicle by issuing individual task orders. On 7 September it was announced that JB Management, as part of the CACI S3 team, won the PM Battle Command Contract. This award provides technical support to PEO-C3T Battle Command products to include software development, fielding and product support. JBM past performance and ongoing efforts within the PM Battle Command were instrumental in securing this win.
The TPQ-36 and TPQ-37 radars detect and alert U.S. Forces of incoming indirect fires (mortar, artillery, rocket), and have been key components of an early warning system that provides force protection for our deployed troops overseas. Recognizing the importance of this equipment and wishing to expand its capabilities, the Army's Program Executive Officer-Intelligence, Electronic Warfare & Sensors (PEO-IEW&S) has decided to fund the development and fielding of an enhanced EQ-36 system to replace aging TPQ-36 and TPQ-37 radars. JB Management is honored to be a part of the winning Lockheed Martin team for this critical endeavor, and will be assisting with software interoperability issues and providing logistic and field services support to the fielding of the new radar systems.

JB Management teamed with three winning prime contractors for the new Veterans Technology Services Government-wide Acquisition Contract (VETS GWAC). VETS GWAC is a government-wide omnibus indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract designed to facilitate business opportunities for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. JB Management was selected as a key subcontractor for Advanced Systems, Inc. (ASI) , Professional Solutions (ProSol) and Standard Communications, Inc. t o leverage JB Management's core competencies in logistics, information operations, systems integration, software design, and field services. JB Management is a member of a winning team competing for a $5B satellite program supporting the Worldwide Satellite Systems (WWSS) program, a joint venture between Project Manager, Defense Communications and Army Transmission Systems (PM DCATS) and Project Manager, Warfighter Information Network - Tactical (PM WIN-T). WWSS is envisioned to acquire satellite terminals for military C4I, as well as provide associated support services. In late August, the contracting office announced that JB Management teammate DSCI was one of six prime contractors awarded. JB Management will expand their logistics, systems integration, and field services work with the winning DSCI team by helping provide support services to these new satellite terminals.

Teamed with CACI, JB Management recently won the Common Software contract with PDM Common Software at Ft Monmouth NJ. This is a four year contract worth over $14M to JB Management. Our Software developers in NJ, supported by our corporate staff in Virginia, played a critical role in winning that work.

JB Management, Inc. recently reorganized is corporate structure. In April of this year the corporate leadership defined the core competencies at a strategic planning offsite. Based on that decision, the leadership reorganized the firm placing a vice president to oversee each of the four core areas (Information Operations, Systems Engineering and Integration, Software Development, Integration and Configuration Management and Logistics Support Services). Mr. Alex Johnson, CEO, stated "We believe this reorganization of responsibilities will enhance our growth potential while continuing to provide excellent support to our current customers."
