JBM Part of Winning JIOWC HNA Team

ALEXANDRIA, VA., Jan 09, 2009 -- JB Management, Inc. (JBM) is part of a winning team notified today that they were selected as winners for the Joint Information Operations Warfare Command (JIOWC) Human Network Analysis (HNA) & Information Operations Support Contract by the Lackland Air Force Base Contracting Office. This single-award effort has a one year base period of performance, with three additional year-long option periods. The JIOWC is the joint center of excellence for information operations (IO) that plans, integrates, and synchronizes IO and serves as the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) lead for enhancing IO across the Department of Defense (DoD). The HNA Division (JIOWC/J26), working with the Army’s 1st Information Operations Command (1st IO Cmd) and the Air Force’s National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), specializes in “human network analysis” for influence operations targeting significant individuals and groups related to Improvise Explosive Device (IED) defeat efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan. JBM brought extensive IO planning, intelligence, and targeting expertise to this effort, as well as extensive cultural studies support experience at the NASIC. During execution, JBM will provide additional planning and intelligence support to the Fort Belvoir-based 1st IO Cmd, as well as augmented cultural analysis support to the NASIC at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
